I have a cement front porch with brick as a exterior trim. When the front porch was poured, they spilled the cement all over the top of the brick and it looks terrible on the top. I want to lay a tile over the top of the porch and the brick steps leading up to the deck. Should I prepare the cement in any way to make the tile adhesive cling to it?

Providing there is no sealers on it you should be able to tile over it. Remove any dust ,dirt, ect. ,ect.. If you put some water drops on it does it soak in or bead up?? (it should soak in)
