I am in the middle of a bathroom overhaule, due to budget constraints, I can not just knock out all the plaster-lathe. The walls were previously coved in plastic tile. The adhesive is very thick and stubbon to chisels and strippers. If there is anyone who has faced this challaged before, and has a more effeicet way or just has encourgement that the job can be done I would be most grateful.

If it's on that well just knock off the high spots andput your mastic on a little heavbier than usual aqnd go over it.
