I've done about 10 tile jobs now. Some flooring, some tubs and one stair riser job which I'm in the process of right now. I always leave a gap for expansion and caulk AFTER I grout the job.
Has anyone ever tried caulking FIRST and then grouting?
The stair riser job I'm on now will be difficult to grout and avoid getting grout in the expansion areas (basically the area between the top and bottom of the tiles). I'm toying with the idea of caulking these areas, waiting a couple of days and then grouting.
Any ideas?
