A house I am remodeling had white aluminum siding and the paint on it ran down onto the brick. I've since resided to vinyl, but the white stains remain on the brick and they won't come out! Any suggestions?

This is likely from the chalking action of the finish on the aluminum. It settles into the pores and fissures of the brick. Periodic washing and waiting may be all you can do.
