Hi, I am a new home owner and I need to put drywall up over plaster walls in the bathroom of a 70 year old rowhouse. I will not be putting it up in the shower area (since that is tiled already), so I was wondering if I have to use greenboard or can I use regular drywall... I really want to use 1/4" sheetrock and have not seen that size in greenboard. Thanks!

Go ahead and use regular drywall. Be sure to paint it with a good quality paint that will resist moisture. Your paint store will help you pick that out.

Thank you very much for your quick reply! I am glad that I can use regular sheetrock to do the project.
