Is there a formula to determine the amount of hot water baseboard heat? I assume it has something to do with square footage. I am building an addition to my home.

You have to work out the heat loss. But this is what you can get .
Heat out at 200oF water temp, 4 g.p.m.flow is 720BTU/hr per foot'
