My a/c unit is blowing out lukewarm air. I went outside to look at the unit, and the fan was not working. I went inside the house and shut off the unit, at the thermostat, and waited a minite, and then cut on the unit and it started to work with cold air. After sometime, the unit started blowing lukewarm air, went outside and sure-nuff the fan was not working. So, I did the same thing and shut off the unit, waited a minite, and cut on the unit and it started working again. what do u think the problem is?

Can you tell if the compressor in the outdoor unit is running when the fan stops or does the whole outdoor unit shut down compressor and fan?

thanks for responding, yes the conpressor and fan and all shuts down, except the blower again thanks
