What do I need to do to prepare drywall (1 x 2 m) for painting (I mean use primer, etc)? Thanks

Yes, use a quality primer like Zinser or Kilz. A primer will blend the various surfaces (compound, bare wallboard, etc.) and the final paint color will be consistent.
