Hi, I started to refinish my basement framing went pretty well for as can be expected for a newbie DIY. I framed with treated 1x4's and started hanging the greenboard with the green side facing toward the foundation wall. Is this how I should hang it? as to most if any dampness, may come from the foundation wall...

My question is should the greenside be facing the wall or facing me?

The green side faces you! Thats the finish side. The moisture resistance is not in the paper face but in the makeup of the rock.
