How do I connect the steering on my boat. I have the cable and pulleys but I'm not sure where to begin. Is there any good books out there that I can use? The repair manual doesn't cover it...

Cable and pulley steering installation begins at the helm.
First measure all the runs from the spool and lace the spool
accordingly. After that its just a matter of lacing the pulleys
and setting enough tension to the springs before securing the
clamps. Besure you dont cross the cables where they might
chafe. Check for correct R/L steering before you get to the water.
