135hp MerCruiser I/O The prop nut has a spring type lock nut. How do you romove the nut...is it CW or CCW rotation ?

Hi, the lock nut is a standard thread, loosens to the left.
You must release the locking tabs first on the star washer.
Just reach in with your screwdriver tip and bend them up a bit.
Place a block of wood between the blade and the housing for
leverage and unscrew the nut.
Dont be cheap with the grease, use lots of lube when you put it
back on. For proper torque, lets just say good'n tight.
Specifically 50 to 70 lb/ft.
