OK - now that I have an idea about how to lay the flooring around the rock - now I have a question about the actual flooring material - which I haven't purchased yet. I went to Lowes last night and visited Lumber Liquidators on line yesterday and I am quite baffled about the many different kinds of "wood" flooring. I've looked at laminate, prefinished hardwood, and even parquet. They are even close in prics. Any big advantages in using one over the other?
