I have fiberglass insulation installed. I wish to cover my walls with very thin(about 1/16" in thickness) wood paneling. I am aware that prolonged inhalation of fiberglass can be toxic. Because of the concern for health effects associated with the fiberglass insulation, is it necessary that I install rockwall over the fiberglass insulation before putting up the wood paneling(the wood panels are extremely thin)?

You do not need to put up sheetorck to keep the fibers out, you need to put up the sheetrock or osb board, so you have a flat surface to pur your paneling up against. If you do not do this, you will get big waves in your paneling in about 10 days. Then you will be very upset.
