Marine: Boating, Sailing, PWC, GPS and Navigation - Boat clean-up

I just inherited a 1996 Galstron with a 4 cylinder Volvo Penta I/O. I have never owned a boat or ridden in one. I have researched about docking, launching, etc. We recently took it out and everything went well. My question is how to get the body clean and repair some tears.
The body kind of has this cloudiness on it. Is there something relatively inexpensive that will help with this? I have washed and waxed, but it doesn't effect it.
It was also stored outdoors for the past 2 years before I got it without a cover and the vinyl has cracks in it. I can't afford to have it re-vinyled, is there a product out there to repair this?

You may get some luster back to the gelcoat with a good application/buffing with an auto rubbing compound.

Not much can be done with the cracked vinyl seats. You may want to invest in new seats now or maybe next year. Check Cabela's and Overtons Marine supply for replacement seats in just about any color. Replacing would pronbably be cheaper than having them redone.

First boat: I suggest a boating course by your local Coast Guard Auxillary.
