Hi we would like to replace our carpet that is in our hallway and stairway with a wood laminate floor. We have 3 boys and think this would be much easier than cleaning carpet? My QUESTION IS IS IT SAFE AND DURABLE TO HAVE WOOD LAMINATE APPLIED TO STAIRS. ANY PROS OR CONS?

Laminate is used on stairs often. Laminate is durable but it's also more slippery than carpet. The of crew 3 will have to be careful and hold on to the hand rail. Adults would be at very little risk on a laminate stairway but remember adults are childran that have learned that they are not necessarily indistructable.
