I am thinking about installing a laminate floor at my home. The floor that is on it right now is the 12x12 vinyl tiles on luan board. Underneath that is anouther layer of sheet vinyl and another layer of luan. This is all attached to 3/4 OSB subfloor.
Should I rip up the two layers of luan and get down to the original subfloor or should ignore it and install the floating floor over the 2 layers of luan and vinyl?
Thanks for your help,
Brian

Yes, it can go right on top.
Transitions? Are they going to be higher now?
You may need a reducer for a thicker flooring??
Or something custom milled.
