Solid Hardwood, Engineered and Laminate Flooring - Rating laminate products?

I've been looking at laminate flooring products for my kitchen and den and found a couple that look good to me. I have been unable to find an independent web site or organization that rates the different laminate products. I would be interested in some analysis which looks at products after a couple years of use also. Does anyone know of such a web site or rating service? I checked Comsumer Reports and they had one article in 2001, but it did not contain the detail I would have liked. I found a Formica product that looks good, but have heard that the linkage system of the Formica products fail after a couple of years and I may get gaps in the floor.
