I have a AC Unit/Gas Heater.A few weeks ago,it stopped working. My Husband went up on the roof, checked a few things and after fiddling around for a while he found a box where the fuses are in.He pulled them out,one was completly broke, the other one was about too.We got new fuses and it ran great.....untill yesterday. He checked the fuses again, there fine, everything else seems to be fine, however when he checks the Breaker on the side of the house,(dryer breaker included),it only messures 120 V not the 220 it should have. How do we go about fixing something like that?
We tried the heater and the fan/auto on the unit, nothing works, thats why we think it might be in the breaker box.Any Info? Thank you,Anita

you have lost a leg of power. the voltage between the 2 lugs on the breaker should be 220 to 240, 120 to ground on each. if you are not getting this, you may have a bad breaker. easy fix
