I want to install a central A/C unit. I Have the condensor section , Pad laid for the unit.
(A) frame coil for furnace. Had a plenium built for additional space needed for the coil. Leaving room for the existing reducer, calulated into design for coil mounting and drain pan.
Bought all the parts needed to complete job (ie) wire, disconnect box, Breaker, and vacum pump.
i'm a qualified brazer so thats not a problem.
also an electrical tech., so the wiring will be basic.
Unit is factory charged. and I will fall well with in the distance for the charge supplied by the manufacturer. I think I have covered all bases. Except the step that will follow leak checking the connections. I need help here. I know the next steps are very basic but I would feel better having it sort of spelled out in detail to be sure I have not over looked somthing that will prove to bite me in the But later.
Thank you in advance

the precharged unit will accomodate only a certain amount of line set and coil without more refrigerant needing to be added. you will need to check for leaks using nitrogen, then a good evac must take place. why not get it all set up and then get an epa certified tech out there for startup? improper refrigerant balance or noncombustibles in the lines will cause you problems.

Thanks for the reply. I agree I think I will have a qualified tech. come out to run a final check on the install and then do the start up.
Good sound advise.
Thanks again :D
