Howdy from OutWest; i recently purchased a lil Motel with 14 of these units ( they're from the mid70's ). Some get colder than others. I would v.m. appreciate some helping info on what is required in a 1st-step maintenance ( we're complete novice in this ) Thanks !

5companies:

The units have to be removed from the wall and dismantled to get at the dirt that accumulates inside.
Once in there you can oil the motors if they have oil ports.
