i have a third floor attic bedroom that my son is moving into. he wants me to paint the room, which is sloped ceilings, starting in black and changing all the way down to lighter shades of blue, like a solar system. i refuse to use black, i'll agree to starting with dark blue but i don't know how to paint it to fade lighter and lighter as i go down the wall. i was thinking sponging? but i need some advice on how to do it.
