Hello'
I'm thinking about redoing my wood floors, I removed the carpet and the floor looks pretty good no old varnish or anything.. what grades of sand paper should i start and what should i finish with?? the floor got few surface scraches, nothing deep.

if you are going to refinish the flooring then i would reccomend that you hire a pro to do the sanding as these things take practice to get the hang of and if you move the wrong way it will gouge the floor and put a dent in the floor that will take a lot fix,there are edgers and drum sanders that require years of practice to master plus the art of putting the stain and finish on hire someone and check them thouroughly, save you grief and aggrivation :cool:
