Hello,

I am trying to replace the filter in my central heating/air conditioning unit. I took the old filter out (it is one of those blank filter tic-tac-toe filters that you would - I guess - clean everyone month) and measured it. It measures 22 1/2 inches by 25 inches...
now the problem: I cannot find that size anywhere. I checked home depot, leows, even 2 other hardware stores. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find a filter?

Thanks,
Peter.

How does the filter fiter fit?

If your filter slides in on the side or top you can have some "extra" sitting out, and that won't hurt anything.. so go wht the next size bigger like 25 by 25....

Have done it get the 20X25 filter cut a 1" board down to the 2 1/2 " and tape it in the filter rack or on to the filter. 20 x 25 will give you 500"of filter that will work for you ok . just put the stick on the next filter.;) ED
