Please Help .. We have a central electric furnace,
Model FEH-015HA-04 .. Serial # FEH8911-0387
53000 BTU
On the tag it says NORDYNE but on the outside furnace cover it says INTERTHERM
The blower fan runs all the time, will not shut off unless i shut the breaker off. Took the thermastat wires off but it still runs.
Can't find any reset buttons on the furnace.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
THANK YOU

Somewhere inside the electrical compartment of the furnace there is a fan relay. It is the device that allows the thermostat (a low voltage switch) to start the blower (a high voltage device). On some models there is a time delay that runs the fan for a minute or two after the thermostat tells it to stop. Those delay units are famous for never stopping the fan. If you locate the delay board (about 2X3 inches with about 3 low voltage (small) wires connected to it)) I can tell you how to eliminate it and restore normal fan operation. You really don't need the delay and if it saves energy, it sure can't save enough to pay for the service call to have it replaced. Let us know if you can locate it and turn of the power before going in the cabinet. There is lots of juice in there to run the heating elements.
