Hello there,
Ok maybe I'm getting too technical here,
but for painting exterior wall (using latex paint/primer on stucco), is it ok to tint the primer with the same color that the paint will have?
I have been doing that with my interior painting and it has turned out great. Will tinting exterior primer affect it's performance at all?
Thank you
(hope this wasn't a stupid question...:)

Any question that you have is a good question. We are here to help.
Tinting the primer toward the finish color works outdoors as well as indoors. Just check to be sure that the primer is marked tintable. Most of them are tintable so that tinting does not affect the performance of the primer.
Hope this helps.

If your paint store is in doubt 50-75% of the finish color tint is good in most primers.....Mike
