I have a masonary block house that has been painted with a tecture type substance that after 15 years has started to peal off.
I like the look of the tecture and would like to re-apply something over it with a roller and not do a complete stucco type finish with chicken wire and all.
I have already used a pressure washer and striped all the loose flaking paint off.
I'm not sure if i like the sand in paint look and I have been shown some styrofoam bb type stuff to add to paint but I think thats too big. Is there anything else?
I have heard of some type of tecture coating put on some newer homes that is real nice and "egg shell" type finish that would be perfect, What is it and can I do it or does a professional have to spray it on.
thanks
