removed the wall paper from a bathroom, but the walls are very rough, some peeling paint some bareish drywall some smooth sections, how do I even this all out for a decent paint job? Ive started filling nail holes and sanding. Is sanding the whole thing the best way to go? Thanks-Josh

whether you skim coat all the walls with mud or spot patch the defects sanding down the sheen of previous paint will give the new paint/mud better adherance
