I just recently painted a door that has window panes on it. I taped up the panes but the paint bled under it and now looks awful. I need to know how to clean this up - any suggestions?

The problem is the panes are some kind of plexiglass, and they are rough (privacy). So I can't scrape them, and I can't use oops, acetone, or any type of petro. based cleaner.

goo gone is based on petrolium distilate and goof off I'm not sure but these seem not very toxic and no bad odour and work well on latex paint stains old and fresh

Yes but those don't work on plastic (they'll dissolve the plastic). I did find a product linked from doityourself whichi t "LiftOff #5 Latest Paint and Spray Remover" by Motsenbockers. It says its safe for all surfaces. We'll see how it goes...
