I need to know the minimum square feet I can put a 1/2 bath into. Also, what's the best type toilet, sink (pedestal or vanity?)Should the door open in or out? I have a corner in the area to use so maybe some type of angle would use the least floor space? Help!

A pedistal or a wall hung sink would take less space. Smallest door is 2'x 6'8", If door opens into hall, swing it in. Toilet beside sink, allow min. 30" for toilet plus sink size, approx. 55x55. Toilet across from sink, 30"W x 72" deep
