My tub drains slow. It is a new one. Unlike the old one I can not take the stopper and clean. This stopper -- when I push once it closes and when I push it again it opens. When I unscrew this I do not see a place to push the snake thro' or pull any hair or anythng that i can remove. Pl. let me know how to clean the drain.
In the old style I remove the stopper and the overflow cap on the tub wall and I can access. How do i access this
Thank you.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'll throw out something anyway. Can you snake it through the overflow drain? This is normally easier than trying to snake it through the main tub drain.
