we need to install a vent fan in our second story bath. for a DIY job, going over to the soffit would be much easier than going through the roof, or out through the plaster, sheathing, cedar shake, and aluminum siding.
is soffit venting of a bathroom acceptable? what details do i need to keep in mind to do it "right", and where can i find a suitable soffit grille? (i haven't spotted any so far in my searches.)
