View Full Version : Basement Bathroom

I'm installing a full bathroom in my basement which requires the use of a waste ejector pump and the cutting of a trench in the floor for the waste pipes and the hole that the sump and pump sit in. The sump is made out of a plastic material and has a 4" inlet on the side for the waste and then (2) 2" outlets on the top for the vent and the waste . My question is how can I determine which of the many ABS pipes I have in my basement should be used for the 2" vent connection and also if the sump is vented do I also have to vent each fixture separately? Are there books or other websites which discuss this aspect of installing a bathroom in the basement?

TIA,

Steve
