I need your help!
The hot water handle of the bathtub came off. Seeing it needed a new O-ring, I purchased one and reinstalled the handle.
After turning on the valve for the hot water, I soon discovered the water already on in the tub. Turning the handle in either direction, I discovered the water will not turn off.
I took it apart 3 more times, repositioning the fittings each time, but the water still runs and will not shut off -- except by the shut off valve.
What's wrong?
