Decks, Patios, Porches and Docks - Covering an old uneven patio

I was wondering if anyone had ideas/suggestions on what to do to make this area listed below look better. We are fixing up the house to be sold and are trying to do things inexpensively, but at the same time want it to look nice.

We have an old cement patio (8 slabs, each measuring 4 ft x 4 ft) on the side of our house that leads from the sliding glass door to the shed and the back of the house (where grass is).

The problem is this cement patio is about 30-40 years old and is cracked on some parts and settled unevenly over the years. The slab in front of the sliding glass door settled more than the others and as a result, floods and keeps the water close to the house (we have a slab foundation also). There are other sections that settles lower than others and makes the whole area look bad.

Any suggestions?

Seems as if the cheap solution may be sod. Pull out the unsatisfactory patio, and fill with topsoil and put down sod. Probably a lot cheaper and faster than replacing the old patio.
