I have always wondered, is there any reason why kohlers are so loud? The one on my dad's mower, which is an 18.5 hp magnum twin cylinder, is very loud compared to briggs the same size, but it isn't just this kohler, it's just about everyone I've ever heard. Would it just need a quieter muffler? Thanks.:D

I hadn't really thought about it until you mentioned it, but you're right. I suppose it is in the exhaust, not sure.
