I purchased a Durastone product for my kitchen. When the old floor came up we found what appears to be 2" of concrete (even though I have a basement). I have since been told that it is "elastoseal" (maybe mispelled). The "elastoseal" has cracking and movement. Adhesion also appears to have been an issue with 2 previous floor coverings. Is there a "seal" and an adhesive product that I can use?

I have been met with apprehension when I have tried to get someone to remove it from my kitchen because it is throughout the first floor -- There has been some question of what that would do to the integrity of the rest of the elastoseal in the house.
