I have a Statesman 16 hp riding mower that wont start.I have replaced battery, solenoid and bypassed all switches and still will not make sound.How do you check if starter bad?I jumped from battery to starter and itdid not do anything.

What make and model# engine do you have on it? Is your battery known to be good?
