I have complete sets of wrenches, i.e. box end, open end, metric and english, small to 1 1/4". Ever since I bought and used the GearWrench ratcheting box end wrench sets, I seldom use my old wrenches, and often use GearWrench instead of sockets because they are so easy to grab and use.
However, I have never put my gearwrench brand to the test. I have never pushed them beyond their limits. I am curious if anyone has done this, and can report on the abuse or breakage of these wonderful tools.

Im not familiar with GearWrench. Is that a brand name or a specific type of wrench?

I believe GearWrench is a K-D product. K-D was making Craftsman tools for a while and I believe still does.

I got a set of metric ones; they seem to hold up well, I have used them at work for a couple of months with no problems
