When you have new duct work installed under your house, do you typically get a new main trunk, or do they simply attach flex duct arms to an existing trunk? My home is a rectangular ranch with a rather long trunk made of sheet metal down the middle of the house.

Its like what if here???? info info Why or what for did they add this flex on the duct ? Is this basement or what how much did they have to add on to it for what? Is this a crawl way?? do you have it sealed off?Is this a new add on how many new runs did they add to the duct and how big is it? There are a lot of people here that can help you but you have to give them something to work with:rolleyes: ED

Thanks for trying to help Ed. Sorry I didn't provide enough details. I guess this is a question I will ask my local installer tomorrow.

You want to make sure you seal it up and put a good vapor barrier down on the ground. Also If he is going to run the duct out more and add more runs to it. I just think or feel it should be bigger. But thats from here I dont know.;) ED;)
