recently our entrance way was tiled & grouted, the installer
said he will be back in a day to acid wash it and the job will be done. however that evening he was hospitalized due to an auto accident. It has been five days since the grout was installed.
can i just wash it down to get rid of the haze or must i use some
special mix. i would like to seal the grout to complete this install

unless the grout haze is real heavy you should be able to use just water and a sponge.Do that first then if the haze is still there you can go to h.d. or lowes and get some sulfamic acid cyrstals and use that:cool:

Sulfamic Acid should remove the grout haze, be sure to rinse well and allow to dry the time required by the grout sealer manufacturer------ READ THEIR DIRECTIONS !!!! most likely 3 days.
