I am trying to replace a module in a tascam 424 recorder. However, I have encountered a connector that I am not familiar with. It appears to be a normal 12 pin connector, but when you try to remove, it the center portion comes out leaving exposed the little clips that seem to hold the wires in place, however, I can't tell if the wires are soldered to the board or if the clips hold them. I have put quite a little pressure on the connector but it doesn't move. It makes me think it is soldered, but I think that would be unusual.
Thought someone out there might have a solution to this problem. If you have any knowledge regarding this matter, I can email pictures that show better what I am talking about.
