I have a 1996 Yamaha, Kodiak 4x4. The u-joint in front of the middle drive gear needs to be changed. My question is, how do you get to the thing? Looks like you have to take the whole back axle, middle drive gear and everything in between out. Any information would be appriciated.

i replaced the one in the front twice and that was the most horrible thing i've ever gone through. i thought the one you're talking about went one time so i looked at it. IT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE!!
