I want to remove an old shower stall and install a tub. I have clear direction on install of the new but have no idea how to remove the stall.

Some stalls are one single large section where the home was actually built around it. If this is the case you will have to cut the caulk lines around the edges and try and pull it away after removing the hardware. We usually take a Sawz All and just cut them out. No real easy way, you just have to minimize damage to the surrounding area as best as you can.

We just finished removing the original one-piece garden tub and surround from our master bath. We used a jigsaw and cut the surround away from the tub and then cut the surround into two pieces. The tub was easily removed in one piece after the surround was detached and the faucet hardware removed.
Good luck.
Good luck.
