I have old Plastic tile on the walls in my bathroom that has to go. I have no problem getting the tile off, but that glue is pretty tough. Do I need to use a heat gun on this?
Second, how do I prep the walls for plaster after the glue is removed?

My suggestion is to simply remove the tile AND the sheetrock that it's attached to, then go from there. Usually the mastic that is left on the sheetrock makes it difficult to impossible to do anything with it anyway.
