I recently purchased my home. The master bathroom has carpet installed over tile. I desperately want to remove the carpet, but don't know how. I'm also concerned with how big a project this may become depending on what I find. I do know there's tile under the carpet as I confirmed this with the previous owners. Can someone help??

If its not glued down roll it up and throw it away.If it is rip it off the floor and remove the adhesive thats left. Let us know what you find.

It's glued. I can't even begin to peel it away. Any tools or methods you can suggest?

cut it into 4 to 6 inch srips and take a pair of channel locks grab onto it and start pulling the smaler sections will come up easier than trying to pull everything up at once:cool:

Thanks for the advice. That's essentially what I did last night but using my hands (don't have much in the way of tools around here...). Boy they're sore today! Now I'm looking at tons and tons of adhesive. Bought some adhesive remover... I'm guessing I'll end up replacing the tile when all is said and done.
