masterofnone,
Welcome to DoItYourself.com
You need to set each of the pier blocks on a concrete footing. The footing should be 15" or more in diameter, and deep enough to get below the frost line where you are -- 6" minimum. Start at the outside end of each girder and work to the center. Level the girder as you go.
