To all you WONDERFULLY KNOWLEDGEABLE experts:

I just have to say thank you thank you thank you! I have been reading your advice for months now, and last week, when my shower finally turned into a trickle, I said to myself, "what can I do MYSELF to fix this" and I remembered that a number of you (I apologize for not remembering exactly whom, but I know it was suggested a bunch of times) had talked about removing the shower head and soaking it in vinegar. It didn't look like there was any kind of mineral buildup, but I gave it a shot. After about 6 hours the amount of brown and white chunks of stuff in in the bottom of the bowl was frightening. Now I can't turn the shower on all the way, the stream is that strong (this is a good thing). So then I went to visit my parents, where the shower water pressure has been dismal since I was a teenager (a very LONG time) and I did the same thing with their shower head. All these years I thought it was because of the water shortages in Southern California that I had no water pressure, but it was a clogged showerhead! Now I can actually RINSE my hair in minutes, rather than HOURS!

You have made me so happy! Thank you thank you thank you!
