I need to remove a gas cooktop and an electric wall oven directly below the cooktop to install a slide in gas range. Since the wall oven is 27" and the cook top is 29" and the new range is 30", the ceramic tile on the top of the counter have to be cut along with some of the cabinetry. How do you cut these tiles which are already installed for over 6 years?

there is a 4" angle grinder available that you can attach a dry cut diamond blade to to cut the tile however it will leave a rough edge. You may want to consider tearing out the tile at that edge and getting some kind of trim like a bullnose to finish that off, unless the edges of the tile will be hid by the new stove somehow:cool:
