I have old plastic wanabe tiles around my bathtub. Does anyone have any good ideas for putting REAL tiles over these or how should I go about it? Thanks in advance.

I would rip the old wanna be stuff right out and install new backboard and tile. Most good ahesives would react and probably melt if you used some type of adhesive. Applying mastic even with acrylic addatives for flexibility still wouldn't stand up to the flexing substrate of plastic. You can put a tub enclosure over the area too.
