My grandmother has a patch of Madonna Lilies that the stem and foliage all turn brown when they blossom. Right now, before blossoming, the plants look beautiful. Is there anything I can do now to them so they stay nice looking?? Thanks for any help..

Yes, that is the plant. I'll try some good ole farm fertilizer. It makes sense that they lose their color when they blossom. They may need to be moved also. I don't think the soil drains well where they are now. She has had them there quite some time. She thought it was a disease of some sort. They look so lush now I couldn't figure how every year a disease would ruin the foliage at blossoming. Thanks so much for the information!!!!
